Audio Visual Systems

AV systems are among the most dynamic design challenges we work on.  A typical classroom today may have systems that rival an auditorium from a few years ago.

The cabling and control systems that support AV systems have traditionally been dedicated to that task but now we find that widely available high performance twisted pair and fiber optic cables are being applied in novel ways to support AV.  While this infrastructure may look like that used in the IT world there are often different standards for how these cables will perform in an AV environment so care must be taken in the design to insure the intended results.
